An absolutely fabulous standard weight, the most attractive of head piece's, sour expression, rose ear, dark clean eye, split nose roll, open nostrils, wide true underjaw, bone and substance in balance straight front, deep brisket, tack on and barrel ribs. The almost definitive body shape, superb quarters, lovely tail, moved typically and soundly in fit hard condition and I so wanted to award him the ticket or reserve. However, he was sporting a minor recent blemish, which I accepted the handler's explanation for and which did not affect the dog or me, but I just felt that the breed monitors may have questioned this had I gone all the way. If this dog is presented at his very best he will be very hard to beat and he so deserves a crown!
